Where the business started
Wedding florists spend hours writing proposals, pricing arrangements stem by stem, chasing signatures and invoicing. Most run on spreadsheets and email. WPro.AI set out to replace that with one platform, and it had to be designed and built from nothing.
The approach
What we built and why
We started with the florist's workflow: inquiry, consultation, proposal, revision, signature, deposit, production, invoice. Each step became a screen, and the data model followed the workflow rather than the other way around.
The platform generates proposals with the OpenAI API from a consultation's notes and mood board, prices arrangements from a stem-level recipe library, and presents the proposal in a client portal where couples review, request changes and sign electronically. Stripe handles deposits, invoices and subscriptions. A Chrome extension captures Pinterest pins into mood boards.
It is built on Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma and PostgreSQL with authentication, roles, automated tests on the critical paths, and deployment and monitoring on Vercel.
