1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Velour Web's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Velour Web provides web development services including but not limited to:
- Custom website design and development
- SaaS platform development
- Web application development
- Website maintenance and support
- SEO optimization
3. Project Agreements
All project work is subject to a separate written agreement outlining scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms. These Terms of Service apply in addition to any project-specific agreements.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of custom code and designs created specifically for their project. However:
- Third-party software, libraries, and frameworks remain subject to their respective licenses
- Velour Web retains the right to use general techniques, knowledge, and non-proprietary elements in future projects
- Portfolio rights: Unless otherwise agreed, Velour Web may display completed work in our portfolio
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements. Generally, we require a deposit before beginning work, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Late payments may result in work suspension or additional fees.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and timely content, images, and feedback
- Ensuring they have rights to all materials provided to us
- Reviewing and approving deliverables in a timely manner
- Maintaining backups of their own data
7. Limitation of Liability
Velour Web shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. Upon termination, payment is due for all work completed up to the termination date.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
