Wedding planner templates · Built for you

Free wedding planner website templates, built for you instead of by you.

Velour Web offers three wedding planner website templates, Classic, Editorial and Minimal, and builds your choice as a finished, hand-coded site at no build fee; the only cost is hosting at $50 a month, billed $600 for the first year. It arrives written and live in 2 to 4 weeks, for planners anywhere in the US, and it is for your business site, not a couple's wedding website.

The three templates

Classic opens on a single full-bleed photograph with your studio name set in a serif, then a one-line promise, a three-column summary of full planning, partial planning and coordination with starting prices, a band of testimonials, a strip of real weddings and the inquiry form. It is the template most luxury and full-service planners recognize as theirs.

Editorial behaves like a magazine feature. Large headline type, photographs in asymmetric pairs, pull quotes from couples, and a long about section that reads as a story rather than a resume. It suits planners whose photography is strong and whose point of view is the reason couples book.

Minimal is text-led. The packages table sits in the first two screens, galleries are small and fast, the about page is short and direct, and the inquiry form is never more than one tap away. It is the fastest of the three and the best fit for day-of coordinators and planners whose portfolio is still being built.

All three come with the same pages: home, about, services and packages, real weddings, FAQ and contact, with an inquiry form that captures the date, venue, guest count and budget range. Fonts, colors and photo treatment are adapted to your brand, so two planners on the same template do not look alike.

Template you download versus template we build

A free template file is the start of a project. What follows is the platform subscription, the hosting, the writing of every page, the image compression that keeps galleries from stalling on a phone, the SEO setup, and the evenings it takes. The comparison, item by item:

  • Price: a downloaded template is free to a few hundred dollars; ours is free as a finished site, with hosting at $50 a month billed $600 for the first year.
  • Your hours: a template usually takes 40 to 80 hours to become a live site; ours takes a 20-minute call and a 30-minute interview.
  • Hosting: a template needs a platform or host at roughly $17 to $50 a month on top; ours includes hosting, SSL, backups and monitoring in the $50.
  • Copywriting: a template ships with placeholder text; ours ships with your pages written from the interview, or from your drafts if you prefer to write.
  • Speed: template galleries are often several megabytes; ours loads in under one second on a phone, images resized and lazy-loaded.
  • SEO setup: titles, schema, FAQ markup and a Google Business Profile are left to you on a template; they are part of ours.
  • Ownership: a Squarespace or Showit template cannot leave its platform; our code is handed over after the first paid year or on a $999 buyout.

Where free wedding planner templates come from, and what they cost in practice

Zarla, Colorlib and TemplateMonster all list free wedding planner templates; Squarespace and Showit sell themed designs for their own platforms; and independent designers sell Showit and Squarespace templates made for planners. The template is rarely the cost. As of October 2026, Squarespace's plans run $19 to $99 a month billed annually, $25 to $139 billed monthly, with a free domain for the first year on annual plans. Showit starts at $22 a month billed annually, $27 monthly, and $27 to $39 a month with a WordPress blog; planner designs for Showit are sold separately through Showit's Design Market and by independent designers, at the design's own price. Wix's premium plans start at $17.77 a month on a yearly plan, and its free plan keeps the site on a wixsite.com address with Wix branding. A Bootstrap template from Colorlib or TemplateMonster is free but needs a host and someone who edits HTML. None of this is a reason to avoid them; it is the full price to compare against.

Event planner templates too

The same three templates are built for event planners with the pages organized by event type, corporate, social, nonprofit, conference and party, a past-events page sorted the same way, and an inquiry form that asks for event type, date, headcount, venue status and budget. The event planner page explains the differences; the price is identical.

How to choose

A rule of thumb for each situation:

  • Fewer than five weddings to show: Minimal, with the packages table high on the page.
  • Strong photography and a clear style: Editorial.
  • Full-service or luxury positioning, long engagements, venue relationships: Classic.
  • Day-of coordination as the main product: Minimal, with one package and one price.
  • Undecided: we recommend one on the call from your photos and your packages, and switching before design approval costs nothing.

What happens after you pick

A free 20-minute call, a written page map and launch date within one business day, design approval on desktop and phone, then the build: pages written from the interview, inquiry form, FAQ and business schema, Google Business Profile set up, and launch on your domain in 2 to 4 weeks. Small text edits are included afterwards; real changes are $120 an hour. Planners anywhere in the US; we are in San Diego and Los Angeles. We do not build online stores, which belong on Shopify.

Business Websites

A custom website for a small business from Velour Web is a hand-coded, 5 to 10 page site built for a San Diego company that needs to be found on Google and get the phone to ring. The build is included with hosting at $50 a month, billed $600 for the first year and month to month after that, and the code is yours after the first year or on a $999 buyout. It goes live in 2 to 4 weeks and includes design, mobile-first build, quote forms, on-page SEO, the structured data and answer-first copy that ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews read, and Google Business Profile setup.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I customize the template?

Yes: colors, type, photography, the order of sections and the wording of everything are yours, and you approve the design on desktop and phone before code is written. What stays fixed is the structure that makes the site fast and readable. Changes after launch are small edits, included, or $120 an hour for new pages and features.

Is this a Squarespace or Showit template?

No. The three templates are layouts in our own design system, and the site is hand-coded from the one you choose. There is no platform subscription, no theme, no plugins and nothing to update, which is why it loads in under a second and why it can be handed over as code.

Can I take the template to another host later?

Yes. After the first paid year, or on the $999 buyout, the repository is yours and the site runs on any modern host. Nothing about the template is tied to our hosting; staying with us from year two is month to month and your choice.

How long from choosing a template to a live site?

Two to four weeks from the call, assuming photos and the interview arrive in the first week. The written page map carries the launch date, and if we have not launched within six weeks of receiving your content, you can cancel for a full refund.

Can I see the template with my own content before I commit?

You see the design with your photos and copy on desktop and phone and approve it before any code is written. The first year of hosting is paid up front and is refunded in full if we have not launched within six weeks of receiving your content.

What is the difference between a free template and a free website?

A free template is a file; the subscription, hosting, writing, image work, SEO setup and your hours come after it. A free website from us is the finished thing, with hosting at $50 a month billed $600 for the first year as the only cost, and the code yours after that year.
