Velour Web

Wedding florist websites · One florist per metro

Websites and SEO for wedding florists. One florist per metro.

Velour Web builds wedding florists a fast, hand-coded website at no build fee: you pay hosting at $50 a month, billed $600 for the first year. To be found for venue, style and city searches on Google and in AI answers, Growth adds new pages every month from $549 to $2,000 a month, and it bills only after your inquiries grow past what you had before we started. We take one florist per metro, so we never compete against ourselves.

A website as beautiful as your work, and faster than your Instagram

Couples choose a florist with their eyes and decide with their budget. The site is built for both: large, sharp photography that still opens in under a second on a phone, a portfolio organized by real weddings with the venue and the planner credited on each, and a clear starting price so the inquiries you get are ones you want.

Every page is hand-coded on our design system, not assembled from a theme, and written from a 30-minute interview if you would rather not write it. You approve the design on desktop and phone before any code is written, and the site is live on your own domain in 2 to 4 weeks.

  • Home page that says what you design, for which weddings, where, and from what minimum, in the first screen
  • Portfolio by wedding: venue, season, style and planner on every gallery, which is what ranks for venue searches
  • Services and minimums: ceremony, reception, installations, personal flowers, delivery and teardown
  • Inquiry form that asks for the date, the venue, guest count, a budget range and a link to the couple's Pinterest board
  • Tap-to-call, Instagram, FAQ and business schema, and your Google Business Profile set up or cleaned up

SEO and AI search: how couples find a florist now

Couples rarely search 'florist'. They search the venue, the style and the city: 'wedding florist Fairmont Grand Del Mar', 'Indian wedding flowers Los Angeles', 'Temecula winery wedding florist', 'how much are wedding flowers'. More and more of them ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI Overviews the same question and get a short list of names. A five-page portfolio site ranks for your business name and almost nothing else.

Growth builds the pages those searches land on, a few every month: a page for each venue you have worked, each style and tradition you design for, each city you deliver to, and cost guides couples read before they inquire. Each page has your real photos, answer-first copy, FAQs and the schema Google and AI assistants read. We track which AI answers name you, post to your Business Profile, run a review routine, and show every inquiry with the page it came from on your own lead dashboard.

This is the system we built for CHIC Flowers, a luxury wedding florist in San Diego and Los Angeles featured in Vogue, Brides and Haute Living: from a five-page portfolio to more than 150 pages, including 40 venue pages, 25 cultural and regional pages, 19 ceremony pages and 22 location pages.

  • Venue pages: the flowers you designed there, the venue's rules on candles, installs and load-in, and nearby venues
  • Style and tradition pages: garden, modern, luxury, Indian, Jewish, Armenian, Persian, and whatever you are known for
  • City pages for every city you deliver to, written for that city, not copied
  • Cost guides: what wedding flowers cost in your area, by guest count and style
  • AI answer tracking: the questions couples ask assistants, and whether you are in the answer

One florist per metro: we never compete against ourselves

A marketplace earns more when more florists in your city pay for a listing. We work the other way: once a florist in a metro is on Growth, we do not take Growth work from another wedding florist there. On the Local plan the exclusivity covers your target city; from Area up it covers your whole metro, meaning the cities couples there search in, listed by name in your agreement. The website-and-hosting plan on its own is not exclusive.

San Diego and Los Angeles are taken: CHIC Flowers, the florist in our case study, holds them. Every other metro is first come, first served. Ask before you decide and we will tell you whether yours is open.

What it costs, every number

The website is free with hosting at $50 a month, billed $600 for the first year and month to month after that. Growth is optional and billed on top of hosting. The plan is set by how many cities you want inquiries from, not by what you tell us your weddings cost, and for florists it stops at County.

  • Build: $0. No deposit, nothing due at launch.
  • Small text edits on hosting: included. New pages and redesigns: $120 an hour, or included on Growth.
  • Code: yours after the first paid year, or on a $999 buyout any time. Your domain and photos are yours from day one.
  • Growth also tracks 10 to 40 AI search questions by plan, with a strategy call quarterly on Metro and monthly on County.

You pay for Growth only after your inquiries grow

Before Growth starts we count your qualified inquiries for the 30 days before: that is your baseline, the inquiries you already get from Instagram, referrals and your listings. Growth bills only once a 30-day count passes your baseline plus 3. With a typical wedding at about $4,000 in our industry table, 3 extra inquiries is roughly what it takes to book one wedding that covers the plan.

Until then it is free: three months of the plan's full work, then tracking, reports, Business Profile posts and AI monitoring for up to six months in total. You get a billing notice at least 10 days before the first charge, and you can stop then. After that it is 12 monthly payments, then month to month. If the trigger is not reached by month six, you owe nothing and the pages stay.

A qualified inquiry is a form with a working email or phone, or a call to your tracking number that lasts 60 seconds or more. The same person within 90 days counts once, and you have 7 days to flag spam or an existing client. You see every one, with the page it came from, on your dashboard.

Your own site compared with The Knot, WeddingWire and Zola

Marketplaces are where many couples start, and a good listing with reviews is worth keeping. The difference is what you own and who you share the couple with. The Knot and WeddingWire belong to the same company, The Knot Worldwide; Zola runs its own vendor marketplace. On all of them you appear in a list of florists in your area, and the couple compares several of you in one sitting.

  • Keep your marketplace reviews and link to them; couples trust them
  • Send every listing, Instagram bio and Pinterest profile to your own site, so the inquiry lands where you own it
  • Watch which source books, on your lead dashboard, and spend accordingly

Fiory customers get first claim

If your studio was a Fiory customer before you first asked us about this service, you get priority: when you ask about a metro that is open, it is yours first, and if two florists want the same metro, the Fiory customer goes first. Fiory and Velour Web are separate businesses. A Fiory account does not sign you up for anything here; you have to ask us, and the agreement is with Velour Web.

Fiory is proposal and client software for wedding florists: AI proposals, smart pricing, a client portal with e-signatures, and billing.

The catch, in plain words

One: the first year of hosting, $600, is paid up front and is not refunded once the site is live. Two: the design is built on one of our layouts, adapted to your palette, type and photography, rather than from a blank canvas. Three: Growth is a 12-month commitment once it starts billing; you can stop at the billing notice, and if you do, the Growth pages come down unless you keep them for half of the remaining payments. Four: we need your real wedding photos; a venue page without your work on it does not rank and does not book.

Not a catch: no commission on your weddings, no share of your bookings, no domain in our name, no lock-in to a platform.

A custom website for a small business from Velour Web is a hand-coded, 5 to 10 page site built for a San Diego company that needs to be found on Google and get the phone to ring. The build is included with hosting at $50 a month, billed $600 for the first year and month to month after that, and the code is yours after the first year or on a $999 buyout. It goes live in 2 to 4 weeks and includes design, mobile-first build, quote forms, on-page SEO, the structured data and answer-first copy that ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews read, and Google Business Profile setup.

FAQ

Common questions

Is the website really free?

The build is: no deposit, no balance at launch, no fee later. The one cost is hosting at $50 a month, billed $600 for the first year and month to month after that, which covers hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, security updates and small text edits.

Do I have to buy Growth?

No. Many florists start with the website and hosting only. Every hosted site gets a monthly lead report, so you can see what the site brings in before you decide whether to add Growth.

What does 'one florist per metro' mean exactly?

Once a wedding florist in your metro is on Growth, we do not take Growth work from another wedding florist there. On Local the exclusivity covers your target city; from Area up it covers your whole metro, with the cities listed in your agreement. San Diego and Los Angeles are taken by CHIC Flowers.

When does Growth start billing?

Only when your qualified inquiries in a 30-day period pass the baseline we measured before starting, plus 3. You get a notice at least 10 days before the first charge and can stop then. If it has not happened by month six, you owe nothing and the pages stay.

Which plan would I be on?

It depends on how many cities you want inquiries from: Local for one city, Area for up to three, Metro for up to six, County for up to ten. For florists the top plan is County at $2,000 a month; a studio covering more than one metro should talk to us first.

Should I cancel The Knot or WeddingWire?

Not on our account. Keep the listings that bring you weddings and the reviews couples read, and point them to your own site. Your lead dashboard shows which source books, so after a season you can decide with numbers.

I use Fiory. Am I already signed up?

No. Fiory and Velour Web are separate businesses, and a Fiory account does not sign you up for anything here. If you were a Fiory customer before you asked us about this service, you get first claim on an open metro; you just have to ask.

Can you move my Squarespace, Showit or Wix site?

Yes, and the rebuild is the same free build. We keep your domain, carry over the galleries worth keeping, redirect every URL that has rankings or links, and switch on launch day, so Google treats it as the same site with better pages.
